Firm Development & Consulting, LLC was founded upon the invaluable experience gained during my first role within my father's business. Witnessing my father's exceptional ability to deliver unparalleled customer service left a lasting impression on me. Inspired by his respectful demeanor and subtle charisma, I sought to emulate these qualities in my interactions with clients and fellow entrepreneurs. His customer-centric approach, characterized by asking insightful questions, active listening, and effective communication, served as a blueprint for creating exceptional experiences for clients. Through his mentorship, I discovered the power of attention to detail in achieving flawless outcomes and the importance of thinking innovatively to explore strategic alternatives. This foundational experience continues to guide our firm's commitment to excellence and client satisfaction.
Meet Brenda Jackson-Cross
Brenda Jackson-Cross is the CEO and Founder of Firm Development & Consulting LLC. Her qualifications embody all the skills and technical expertise she has learned over 30 years of experience. She earned a bachelor's degree in Community and Economic Development from the University of Toledo and an associate's degree in Business Management with an emphasis on Accounting. She is also Growth Wheel Certified for Business Planning. Her career background includes banking, assistant director, executive director, and executive administrative assistant.
Her passion is creating productive working relationships, stemming from her desire to help small businesses succeed. She aims to use her experience and excellent technical skills to produce solutions for our clients and entrepreneurs.
Her entrepreneurial passion stems from working in her father's business and watching him excel in his craft while providing excellent customer service and creating great relationships. Her aim is to continue her father's legacy of interacting with clients in a respectful manner, asking pertinent questions, listening, and communicating for a successful outcome.
Brenda is the mother of two adult children and the grandmother of one granddaughter. She delights in various cuisines, enjoys live music, especially jazz, writing, travel, and people.
